Role

As the Manager of Organisational Communication, you will drive the strategy that brings Breakthrough’s mission to the world. You will bridge the gap between internal impact and external visibility, ensuring the organization is recognized as a leader in gender equality through powerful storytelling and strategic partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation of the annual communication calendar to highlight key organizational priorities.
  • Create high-quality content including newsletters, impact stories, and campaign materials.
  • Manage public relations by drafting press releases and coordinating media interactions.
  • Support leadership by drafting speeches and thought leadership pieces.
  • Coordinate the production of major outputs like the Annual Report and brochures.
  • Maintain a repository of impact data and research insights for consistent messaging.
  • Manage relationships with external communication agencies to ensure timely delivery of work.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all external events, forums, and digital platforms.

Requirements

  • 7-9 years of professional experience in communications, public relations, or brand management.
  • Professional fluency in English with exceptional storytelling and editorial skills.
  • Technical proficiency in managing digital content and communication software.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders.
  • Proven experience managing external creative or PR agencies.
  • Deep passion for gender equity and social justice.
